Public relations agencies are increasingly focused on their core areas of expertise to help grow their business during the slowdown. PR companies say cost-efficient solutions have helped them get clients and boosted their business during the tough time.
Louay Al Samarrai, managing director of Active Public Relations and Marketing Communications Consultancy which had recently joined hands with Mezze Associates to specialise in hospitality PR, said: “If you look at what both Mezze Associates and Active PR have done is stay focused on their core areas of expertise and this has served them very well during the crisis with both the firms seeing their businesses grow.”
Active PR has signed a deal with Mezze Associates to offer the hospitality sector a consultancy service, covering marketing and communications. Both Active and Mezze – a hospitality management company – will provide hotels, travel and tourism boards with assistance in marketing destinations or hotel chains to Middle East consumers.
